Definisi Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM) adalah suatu kondisi gagal jantung yang berkembang pada trimester terakhir kehamilan atau dalam waktu lima bulan setelah melahirkan, tanpa penyebab yang jelas seperti penyakit jantung yang sudah ada sebelumnya.  --- Patofisiologi Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM) Secara Hormonal dan Biomolekuler Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM) adalah kondisi gagal jantung yang terjadi pada trimester akhir kehamilan atau dalam lima bulan setelah melahirkan, tanpa adanya riwayat penyakit jantung sebelumnya. IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction / Fetal Growth Restriction) .

1. Definisi IUGR atau Fetal Growth Restriction (FGR) adalah kondisi di mana janin gagal mencapai potensi pertumbuhan intrauterin yang diharapkan untuk usia gestasinya. Secara praktis sering didefinisikan sebagai estimated fetal weight (EFW) < 10th percentile untuk usia kehamilan; tetapi perlu dibedakan dari small for gestational age (SGA) karena tidak semua SGA adalah patologis (konstitusional). Pedoman internasional juga membedakan IUGR ringan/sedang dan berat (mis. EFW < 3rd centile atau bukti disfungsi hemodinamik/abnormal Doppler). 2. Patofisiologi — ringkasan Patofisiologi IUGR bersifat multifaktorial. Mekanisme utama yang sering hadir: Insufisiensi plasenta (plasental) — kerusakan atau gangguan vascularisasi plasenta → aliran darah uteroplacental menurun → asupan oksigen dan nutrisi terhambat → penurunan pertumbuhan janin. Perbedaan Bad Obstetrical History (BOH) vs Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL)

  BOH adalah istilah luas yang dipakai pada praktik kebidanan (terutama di Indonesia/daerah) untuk menyatakan riwayat obstetri sebelumnya yang buruk — tidak hanya keguguran berulang tetapi juga termasuk stillbirth, IUFD (intrauterine fetal death), IUGR, neonatal death, pre-eclampsia berat, malformasi kongenital, kelahiran prematur berulang, dsb. RPL lebih spesifik: merujuk pada kejadian kehamilan yang hilang (miscarriage/pregnancy loss) berulang menurut definisi pedoman internasional (≥2 atau ≥3 kehilangan kehamilan, tergantung pedoman).
